Paris braces for major flooding

Authorities in Paris are being forced to shut down parks and tunnels as the city braces for major flooding. The bottom floor of the Louvre museum has also been closed to prevent flooding affecting world famous artworks. Heavy rain has also forced some residents to evacuate their homes. Meteorologists claim the French capital has received about double the average rainfall for this time of the year.
