Paris knife attacker posthumously identified as potential radical

The knife-wielding Paris attacker has been identified as Khasan Azimov, who was on a watch list for ‘potential radicalism’, Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov says. Mr Azimov killed one person and injured four others in the Opera district of Paris before he was shot dead at the scene. Police have launched a terror investigation following claims that Islamic State is responsible the attack.
