Storms cut power to hundreds of homes

Hundreds of families are without power in Brisbane after a series of Christmas Day thunderstorms rolled across southeast Queensland. About 600 homes remain without electricity in Mount Gravatt and Morningside due to lightning damage, Energex spokesman Danny Donald said.
