Famous Twitch streamer HasanAbi recently spoke about a phenomenon that shouldn’t be unfamiliar to creative types — people stealing his work and republishing it for monetisation purposes. Oftentimes, especially on digital platforms, creators who publish a completed work (be it art, video, music, and so on) will find it being shared around publicly, and if possible, without watermarks or references to the original creator.
