‘Amazing revelations’ for researchers tracking great white sharks near Cape Cod

Scientists with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy and the Massachusetts Marine Fisheries are tracking great white sharks off the coast of Chatham, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. The researchers have collected data on more than 500 individual sharks. "The more tags we get out, the more we're learning from each one of those individual sharks," researcher Greg Skomal says. "We're discovering new aspects about their biology we never even knew before."
