Fire tornado in Canada is an apocalyptic sight

The wildfire service in British Columbia has released dramatic footage of what they described as a fire whirl spinning over a lake during an out-of-control wildfire. According to the fire service, the video was captured by ground personnel at the scene of the Downton Lake wildfire in the Gun Lake area on August 17. The formation was the result of a “combination of high fire intensity, strong winds and air mass instability,” the fire service said.
