Thousands protest in Barcelona after former Catalan leader’s arrest

Catalonia's exiled former President, Carles Puigdemont is due to appear in a German court after being arrested near the Danish border. The arrest has prompted thousands of demonstrators to take to the streets of Barcelona, following Spain's decision to reactivate an international arrest warrant.. Mr Puigdemont is wanted by Spain on charges of rebellion and sedition over his involvement in the Catalan independence referendum last year.
