Toronto Police search for a motive after a van ploughed into crowds

Canadian authorities are trying to establish exactly why a driver ploughed a rented van into crowds on a Toronto footpath. The Toronto Police Force has confirmed 10 people have died after a man hired a van and ploughed into pedestrians on a busy city street. Officers are questioning 25-year-old Alek Minassian over the incident, as a further 15 people are being treated in hospital.
