Jury acquits Orlando nightclub shooter’s wife

A jury in the US has settled on a non-guilty verdict in the case against the widow of the Orlando nightclub shooter, Omar Mateen. In June 2016, 29-year-old security guard Mateen killed 49 people and wounded 58 others in a terrorist attack inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. Noor Salman was accused of helping her husband carry out the deadly terrorist attack, in the name of Islamic State.
