Russia expels 150 Western diplomats, shuts down US consulate

In what is the latest retaliation in the ongoing woes between Russia and the West, the Kremlin has announced it will shut down the US consulate in St Petersburg and expel 150 Western diplomats, including 60 from the US. British Prime Minister Theresa May initially expelled Russian diplomats from the UK, with the United States, Europe and Australia quickly following suit in response to a nerve agent attack on a former spy in Salisbury.
