Lava pouring out from fissures destroys homes in Hawaii

Two new cracks have emerged in the ground near Hawaii's Kilauea volcano in addition to 10 other fissures spewing out lava. At least 35 homes and other structures have been destroyed and about 1,700 people have been evacuated. Lava has spread over about 36,000 square metres surrounding the most active fissure and there is no indication of when it might stop.
