One dead, four injured in IS-motivated knife attack in Paris

French authorities say an assailant shot dead after a knife attack in Paris was a 20-year-old French citizen who was born in Chechnya. The knife-wielding attacker killed one person and injured four others in the Opera district of Paris. Police have launched a terror investigation following claims that Islamic State is responsible the attack.
