Over 1,000 homes evacuated as fire sweeps through northern Arizona

An out-of-control fire is threatening more than 1,000 homes in northen Arizona. Authorities have declared a state of emergency as winds in excess of 80 kilometres an hour rapidly spread the blaze. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
