Australian seeds sealed inside Norway doomsday vault

Thousands of Australian seeds have been sealed inside a doomsday vault in Norway, as part of a worldwide project to preserve the world's food supplies. More than 30 crates containing 34,000 different types of grain and pasture seeds were sent to the country's north, to be stored inside the Svalbard Global Seed Vault. The seed vault is the world's largest seed storage facility, storing almost 900,000 different types of seeds.
