Trains collide in deadly crash

TWO people have died and 50 people are injured after a passenger train smashed into a freight train and derailed in Columbia, South Carolina. The collision happened at 2.30am on Sunday (6.30pm AEDT), with emergency services on the scene between Charleston Highway and Pine Ridge Road.
