UN Security Council demands a 30-day truce in Syria

The UN Security Council has unanimously voted to approve a resolution demanding a 30-day ceasefire across Syria 'without delay'. Over the past week The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says airstrikes have killed almost 500 people in the rebel-held suburb of Damascus. US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley says the violence needs to end.
